How to take screenshots in games and how to record movies?

Okay, its me, Topgun750 again. Because one of the members of the forums asked how to record what you are doing on WarRock, I decided to make a topic about it. This is a guide topic, that will show you how to do it. There are MANY ways on how to record a movie, but I will only introduce you to TWO of them. The first one, is using a program called FRAPS. It records what-ever is hapening on the screen, however, it has a break in it, so it only records games, and even that, only certain games that require a graphic card. WarRock is one of these games whatsoever, so I will teach you how to do it. Here is the walkthrough on making a movie out of WarRock:

1st.: Go to www.fraps.com
2nd.: Download the product from their download site. (FRAPS 3.2.3 currently).
3rd.: Instal the product, and launch it.
4th.: Click on the thumb saying "Movies", then select a save destination folder. Now select a Video Capture Hotkey (normally F9). You can also play with other options, but I dont suggest that, since other FRAPS options seem fine to me.
5th.: Minimize FRAPS and run WarRock (warrock.exe). You will see a yellow number in the top-left part of the screen (unless you changed the option on FPS tab, showing you the Overlay Corner). The yellow numbers should be changing (not all the time, but very often.). Now, if you press the Video Capture Hotkey (normaly F9), the numbers will turn red.
6th.: If the numbers turned red, you are done. Numbers turning red, means that you are recording the screen. If you press the Video Capture Hotkey again, you will see the numbers turn yellow again. That means that recording has been stopped.
7th.: After you have recorded what you have wanted, go to the save destination folder of your Movies, and the clips you have recorded should be there.



8th. (not part of recording): I suggest you use the Windows Movie Maker for editing the movies, because that's the easiest way too.

9th.: The End!

¤ The unregistered version of FRAPS will only allow you to record the screen for 30 seconds, and then it will automatically turn off, leaving you with no option, but to press F9 multiply, if you want to record a longer movie. A good way to fix that, is to download a crack or a cracked version of FRAPS. I have searched for a safe link for that, but I could only find torrents. TORRENTS CAN INCLUDE VIRUSES - so I decided not to post any links here, and let you find a safe one for yourself.


¤ In the begining, I said TWO ways of how to record a movie. The second way is alot longer and harder, so I only posted this one for now. If anybody will not like this one, or it wont work for him, please post here, and I will add the second way on how to doing it.

¤ FRAPS may cause lag to your computer, so I suggest you turn it off unless you arent actually recording something.

But how can i upload on youtube i have make a khali bug video but when u upload i say sukseful but i cant watch the movie

PS lassi, if u upload it to youtube you cant watch it directly, sometimes you have to wait, If the video still isn't on the site after 1 day I would upload it again.

About the video recording program, I havent used it yet, but I guess its good as well. I find FRAPS very simple to use, and also gives you most of the options you actually want.... And about the youtube uploading, I agree with you. I think they need to check the video out and edit it so it fits their needs. This should take about 10 minutes - 1 hour, but yes, just in case, wait one day, then go to your profile on youtube, and then see if the video is there.. :-)
